Bluelab Truncheon Nutrient Meter
The Bluelab™ Truncheon® Nutrient Meter is the world's favorite nutrient measurement meter. With its super tough, high quality, fully waterproof design, the Bluelab™ Truncheon® has proven itself for years.
It is essential when growing with a hydroponic to know what the strength of the nutrient solution is before feeding your plants and while they are gowing. With the Bluelab™ Truncheon®, the task is virtually effortless. To take a reading of your solution, simply place the probe end into the solution for a minute or two so that it reaches the same temperature as your nutrient. Remove from the solution and place back in to take the reading as indicated by the flashing blue lights. Rinse the probe after use in fresh water and clean once a week to ensure the Truncheon® remains accurate.
The Bluelab™ Truncheon® measures the conductivity of a solution, with measurement values in CF (2 - 36), EC (0.2 - 3.6), ppm 500 (100 - 1800), and ppm 700 (140 - 2520).
Calibration is never required and its stick like design makes it perfect for stirring the nutrient reservoir as well.

The Bluelab™ Truncheon® is also available as the Bluelab™ Commercial Truncheon®, identical to the original, except for higher test value capability for commercial applications.
The Bluelab™ Commercial Truncheon® measures the conductivity of a solution, with measurement values in CF (4 - 60), EC (0.4 - 6.0), ppm 500 (200 - 3000), and ppm 700 (280 - 4200).
